This is a shout-out to my daughter who turned 21 today!

I love you, baby girl. We may get on each other’s nerves every now and then, but always know that one of the happiest moments of my life was when I got to hold you for the first time.

And, if that doctor hadn’t given me an injection to speed up my labor, you would have been born on John Lennon’s Birthday. In fact, you only missed it by 20 minutes. Pretty cool, huh?

From one bleeding heart liberal to another – I hope you follow your heart and soul and dreams. And always remember… don’t let the bastards or the ugly people keep you down!
