We Cannot Help But Believe

Yesterday was a beautiful day. My only regret is that I could not experience the magic of the Presidential Inauguration due to the fact that I work with staunch Republicans who pouted all day. Still, I am happy and hopeful, along with the majority of the world. The United States finally has a leader with intelligence, charisma, vision, and communication skills. The turning point for our nation has arrived.

"We cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself."

From the Inaugural Address
U.S. President Barack Obama
